Calidad de miembro: Organismo corresponsal

The Comisión Nacional de Normalización Técnica y Calidad (CNNC) of the Republic of Nicaragua is the organization responsible for coordinating policies and programs related to technical standardization and quality certification of products and services. The functions and services of the CNNC include:

  • Development, updating, and adoption of Technical Standards (NTN), in accordance with Good Standardization Practices.
  • Preparation and updating of Mandatory Technical Standards (NTON), equivalent to Technical Regulations.
  • Notification Service for the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade and the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
  • Coordination of national activities and representation in International Standards Organizations.
